Commissioning
Cork Ignite was commissioned by Cork City Council as part of Ignite.
Ignite (2013-15) was managed by a unique Irish partnership involving the Arts Council (Ireland), Arts & Disability Ireland (ADI), Cork City Council, Galway City and County Councils, and Mayo County Council
Ignite (at the time) was a new platform designed to generate Ireland’s most ambitious showcasing of talent from people with disabilities, led by international and Irish artists and performers with disabilities, with projects taking place during 2014 and 2015 in Cork, Galway and Mayo.

National Sculpture Factory
The National Sculpture Factory (NSF) in Cork, Ireland, is an organisation which provides and promotes a supportive and enabling environment for the making of art and the realisation of creative projects.
NSF actively support artists and their practice through residencies, lecture programmes, cultural exchanges, master classes and professional development workshops.
NSF was the local host and lead organisation partner (2013-2015) for Cork Ignite.

Create - Ireland
Create is the national development agency for collaborative arts in social and community contexts in Ireland.
Its mission is to provide advice and support services to artists and arts organisations working collaboratively with communities in social and community contexts.
Create supports artists across all artforms who work collaboratively with communities in different social and community contexts.
Create were the national organisation supporting Cork Ignite in Ireland.

Suisha Inclusive Arts at COPE Foundation
Suisha Inclusive Arts promotes inclusion of people with disabilities through arts as part of COPE Foundation services in Cork, Ireland.
Suisha Inclusive Arts generates partnerships with arts groups in the community. These partnerships help create brand new chances for artists and performers to showcase their talent.
Suisha Inclusive Arts is based in Civic Trust House on Pope's Quay, Cork city.
Artists from Suisha were involved in Cork Ignite from the onset of the project.

SoundOUT
SoundOUT provides inclusive music-making and performance opportunities for young people with and without disabilities in Ireland. SoundOUT's Mish Mash technology performance group was developed in November 2012 as part of the PHD research of Grainne McHale at UCC School of Music and Theatre. The group create and perform original music using new assistive music technologies.
Artists from SoundOUT were involved in the creation of music for Cork Ignite.
