Exactly two years before the live performance of Cork Ignite, McKeown was invited by representatives of the National Sculpture Factory (NSF) and Create (Ireland) to Cork to discuss a new project. Flying from Manchester and landing at Cork Airport, Mckeown travelling to meet Mary McCarthy, the Director of NSF and Patrick Fox who was at the time the Director of Create.

Following a tour of Cork, Mckeown proposed the idea of an outdoor projection event. which was accepted and later developed to coincide with Culture Night Ireland.
Kath Gorman was subsequently appointed as Project Manager with Marc Anderson appointed as the Production Manager.
The pressure was the on to find and secure a location, planning permissions, support and further funding.

During the Spring of 2014 McKeown worked with a group of creative participants from COPE Foundation and other disability organisations to create a material based around stop frame animation, shadow puppetry, artwork and video. With ages ranging from 18 to over 80 years old the team were based at the Triskel Arts Centre. Further workshops took place into 2015 with Cope and SoundOUT producing two beautiful production tracks with guest musician Cian Walsh.

During Spring and summer of 2015 Mckeown worked extensively with his creative team, in particular, Craig McMullen, sound specialist Nigel Crooks and with concept artist Kameliya Minkova. Craig was central to the overall effort and the only team member who worked exclusively on the project, Additionally, Mckeown worked with team members Phillip Wray and David Archibold.
